For Everyone
The Canadian Mental Health Association is the most established, and extensive community mental health organization in Canada. They provide advocacy, programs, and resources that help prevent mental health problems and illnesses, support recovery and resilience, and enable all Canadians to flourish and thrive.
The Psychological Health and Safety Action Guide, developed by the Mental Health Commission of Canada, outlines practical solutions for employers to foster an integrated approach to workplace mental health in Canada, and protecting an employee’s psychological health and safety.
The Mental Health Commission of Canada has also developed a Mental Health First Aid course to train individuals to help those struggling with mental health or experiencing a crisis. The course is designed to increase awareness, and build confidence, as well as decrease the stigma surrounding mental health. The course also offers techniques to foster a safe work environment to promote mental wellness.
